I need a sfdfgdfecure, browser-based portal that lets my small team handle every stage of our worldwide shipping workflow in one place. The core of the system is fast document entry and processing: creating shipments, auto-generating bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, and archiving them for quick retrieval. Alongside that I want built-in customer tracking so we can see a client’s active and past shipments at a glance, leave notes, and log email or chat conversations directly on the customer record.

Different staff groups must see only what they need. I will define roles such as Admin, Operations, and Read-only, each with custom permissions for viewing, editing, or approving documents. Single sign-on or two-factor authentication would be a plus for added security.

The first release only has to work in any modern desktop or laptop web browser, but please build with an eye toward adding a mobile front end later. I’m open on tech stack—Laravel, Node, Django, or something equally mainstream—as long as the code is well organised, documented, and easy for another developer to extend.

Deliverables:

• Full-function web portal deployed on my hosting or a recommended cloud server

• Role-based access control implemented and tested

• Dashboard for document processing plus customer timeline view

• Source code in a private repo, with setup instructions and brief user guide

• One short hand-off session to walk my team through daily use and basic admin tasks
